Snow behind me...

Hey guys, I hope the new year is treating you well. So I mentioned in the last post that it would be cute to turn that summer look into somewhat of a winter look with a leather jacket and a bootie...and this is it. I did forget to put on my black unity scarf to finish off the look...that's what happens when one (me) fails to plan the outfit ahead of time, smh.

I have finally been bitten by the instagram 'bug' and you check it out here for more posts that don't make it on the blog...

..it was freezing out there and no i'm not used to the crazy Canadian winter just yet. We actually had a polar vortex experience last week...not cool.

All white + skin

Hello guys, so I was searching through my many photos for posting and found these shots we took in the summer in much warmer and happier times near Square One (I'm sure most of my 'Toronto-nian' readers know exactly where that is). This chiffon dress was purchased on eBay (which has some of the cutest pieces by the way) and its turned out to be one of my go-to dresses. The dress has the 'winter white' thing going on already so I might as well create a winter look with it by dawning some fleece lined tights (you can find most of those at the store Ardenes by the way) and booties with a very warm leather jacket and tadaa... a winter look has been created!

So i was on the hunt for some of the fashionable peeps after church today and scouted one of my good friends, Edith. She's a dear friend actually and she agreed to be featured on the blog. Her style is quite classic and simple and i love that. Let me know what you guys think and this may not be last time time on here.

Snow Love :)

So, my roomie is one of the most stylished people i know right now. On this particular day she was looking all "fashionista-ish" so we decided to have our own photoshoot. As you can clearly see, she's sporting a floral summer dress with navy blue tights, an orange scarf, a bootie, and a charcoal jacket with the motocycle feel. This is just the perfect way of transitioning a summer dress into fall or winter. Enjoy guys
