The 2013 oscars was last night and if you're anything like me, the only thing I look forward to during these award ceremonies is the red carpet fashion and trends. Congratulations to the winners though, especially to Ben Affleck for best picture, he gave an incredible speech and it was inspiring just to see how emotional he got. On the red carpet, the major trends and colours I noticed were: metallics, off-whites, reds, whites, and navy. My favourite look of the night was Charlize Theron, she looked amazing from the short haircut to the gorgeous peplum inspired Dior gown.

There were so many beautiful gowns at the Oscars this year - I couldn't just pick one favourite, it's a tie between Amy Adams and Kerry Washington for me :)
