Designer Spotlight...SoKauDa

SoKauDa is a new designer based in toronto and she actually happens to be a good friend of mine. She has an african background and wants to break into the fashion industry with her impeccable ideas behind her designs. The designs do not only capture the african heritage but also the western culture which provides a diversity and variety in the collections. For her fall 2009 collection, the inspiration was mainly "sculpture in motion" and the expert feedback was amazing. It doesn't just end with designing clothing with this designer, she also makes accessories which are great for statement pieces.
